Nutrition for Women Across the Lifespan

Across the lifespan – puberty and adolescence, pregnancy, post-partum, menopause and beyond, women have unique nutritional requirements.

Similarly, across the menstrual cycle, women have different calorie, nutrient needs, and food cravings due to fluctuations in sex hormones. Women can also suffer from unique gynaecological issues such as; premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) – all which can be influenced by nutrition.

In this webinar we explored nutrition across the menstrual cycle, for preconception and pregnancy, and during the menopause.
