There are multiple ways a woman can lose her menstrual cycle, one of which is hypothalamic amenorrhoea (HA). Hypothalamic amenorrhea occurs when part of her brain that controls menstruation, called the hypothalamus, isn't working properly. This can happen due to a lot of stress, excessive exercise, being underweight, or not eating enough calories. The body essentially decides it's not in a good state to support a pregnancy, so it stops the menstrual cycle. In this webinar we will learn about how HA is diagnosed, what causes it, the recovery protocol, and how to prevent it.
You will learn
✔️Understand what HA is, how it is diagnosed, what causes it
✔️The concept of Low Energy Availability (LEA)
✔️Risk factors for HA
✔️ How to recover from and prevent HA
✔️Recovery timeline for someone who has a healthy relationship with food and exercise vs someone who does not
*please note the purpose of the Q&A is educational and no personal medical advice will be given
